Condition monitoring is essential to gain optimal profit from a professional oil conditioning installation such as those in the RMF Systems program.
Contamination Monitoring System (CMS)
The CMS unit is designed specifically to be mounted to systems where continuous measurement or analysis is required, and where space and budget is limited. In addition to the 8 channels solid contamination measurement, in a full range of particle sizing and international standard formats, the CMS water sensor option measures water content using a capacitive RH (relative humidity) sensor. The result is expressed as percentage saturation, with 100% RH corresponding to the point at which free water exists in the fluid.

The CMS can be integrated in our range of off-line filters, see Off-line Smart Filters.

Oil Quality Sensor OQS
The Oil Quality Sensor enables real-time monitoring of contamination and water ingress, so that oil condition dictates when oil change is necessary, not approximate schedules.
The RMF OQS Oil Quality Sensor is a live, flexible condition based monitoring system, designed to be permanently mounted within any lubrication system on any type of machine. Simple, cost effective and robust, it is resistant to high temperatures and pressures up to 20 bar. More than 30 times more sensitive than any existing dielectric constant measuring system, real-time monitoring allows maintenance down-time to be planned according to actual contamination, oxidation and water ingress levels.
